Testimonials

“First and foremost I would like to thank UES for the services that they provide but I would really like to thank Simi and Mike for stopping and asking me a few questions.Earlier in the year (2008), I was at the University of South Florida with our allstar football team the South Florida Express from Miami participating in a 7 on 7 football tournament when I ran into Simi and Mike. After our initial meeting I went back to speak with them about the services that UES provides and my son Deionte Williams. I explained to Simi that my son had not played in an high school sanctioned game of football in over 2 years. Every year he would go out, practice, make the team and earn a starting position and just before the spring game be informed that he does not qualify academically to play. Some thought he was not smart enough to pass his classes but the problem was more complicated than that. You see Deionte’s mom had severe back problems which caused her severe pain and confined her to bed. Prior to this Deionte’s mom decided to have an operation performed on her back to remedy the problem but it only enhanced the pain. Needless to say she ended up having over 5 major back operations over the next 4 years. During this time Deionte’s grades suffered because he stayed home so much to care for his mother. Feeding her, taking her to doctor appointments, cleaning the house things of that nature. He refused to tell anyone his personal business. All Deionte talked about with his brother was going to college to play football, but you could see in his eyes that he knew it was not going to happen. But in comes Simi who not only finds a school for him but did it in less than 2 weeks. With people like Simi working for UES no wonder it is a success.Deionte is now enrolled in college and will begin football practice and school on August 4, 2008. Thank you again Simi, my son has that glow back in his eyes.”

At the end of my senior season, I was disheartened to say the least. Your last year as a high school ball player is your most memorable; everyone hopes that those memories are good ones. This was not so in my case, for the second year my team had the opportunity to go to the playoffs and for the second time we let it slip through our fingers. When the last practice came around and we turned in our gear I really didn’t care to play another down of football for the rest of my life. With a combined effort of my father and Coach Strickland of UES my love for the game resurfaced. In retrospect letting a few bad seasons dissuade me from pursuing a college career was selfish. With the help of Coach Strickland I learned the ins and outs of not only applying to college but what it would take to succeed at the next level. Coach Strickland did everything in his ability to get me through to a college program.Div I and Div II schools turned me down due to deficiency in math credit. Just when I thought my career was over and I was expecting a degree from a community college, I received a phone call from Coach Lee of the Univ. of Montana-Western. The words that came from his mouth surprised me more than I can describe, not only was I about to play college football, they wanted to offer me money to do it. Weeks later, I visited the school and signed that very day. I will be attending UMW in the Fall of 2008, pursuing a degree in journalism and a position on the offensive line. Everything I have the opportunity to work for I owe to Coach Strickland. All I did was play, Coach Strickland got me noticed.

“I have been so blessed to have Ultimate Edge Sports help me out. Without Simi and the UES I do not believe that I would have the same drive both on the field and in the classroom. The UES is great about getting your information out there, while explaining the recruiting process at the same time. If you’re thinking about taking your game to the next level the UES should be a high priority. Thank you Simi and the Ultimate Edge Sports.”

Simi has gone above and beyond what we expected, getting to know Patrick as a person and knowing what he is capable of. “Ultimate Edge Sports is a resource to not only, the athletes but also, an incredible resource to parents. I am confident as a parent UES is taking the time to invest in every area of my son’s life and that the monetary investment is money that is well spent. The mentoring, the support, the information that is disseminated, and the individual attention that is given is par-excellent. UES affords my son opportunities that otherwise would cease to exist.I feel honored to have UES as a support system for my family; they take the time to get to know each athlete and their families on an individual basis. My son’s growth as a person, an athlete, and a scholar is improving because of the influence and impact of this particular organization. Ultimate Edge Sports is highly recommended; I am grateful for their presence in our lives.”

“I think Ultimate Edge Sports will help me get the exposure that I need to get to the next level. Honestly, without UES I don’t think I would have such a great opportunity to play college football. Also, Ultimate Edge Sports keeps me posted with the latest camps and educational requirements for my class. UES is opening doors that I couldn’t open myself.”

Quintin Nunn - Auburn HS

“Well first of all I’m really blessed to have Ultimate Edge Sports guide me thru the process, I’m grateful for the opportunity to attend a camp like the U.S Army National Combine in San Antonio, Texas. Camps and combines in general are good tools to put your name out there and gives you a chance to showcase your skills in front of college scouts, increasing your chance to receive a scholarship. I met a lot of good athletes across the states at the combine, but I know that there were other athletes invited that couldn’t attend, because they didn’t have the finance to pay for the camp and travel expenses. Going there and experiencing the camp first hand really opened my eyes to what I’ve accomplished this past season and has given me more motivation for the next. I also realize that there are a lot of talented athletes in the nation, and I have a lot of work in the off season, if I want to continue to the next level as a collegiate athlete.”
