2010 Tanoa Bowl Allstars

Tanoa All-Stars allow student athletes from around the states to have the opportunity to be selected as a participant at the end of the year in the Tanoa Bowl. This reward enables them to compete with and against the best athletes from the state of Washington and also the state of Alaska has to offer for 2011. Eligible athletes are chosen based on their dedication to academics as well as to the gridiron. Individual stories of triumph and sacrifices are among things these athletes will gain with their participation as a Tanoa All-Star. The Tanoa Bowl is for some, the 12 year culmination of learning both on and off the field; while for others it is a chance for them to learn from fellow athletes who seek to further their education and play the game they love so much.
The first inaugral Tanoa Bowl is scheduled for the 1 of January 2011 featuring the classes of 2011 through 2013. Teams will begin two a day practices December 26 through the 30, with the duration of 2.5 hours maximum for each pratice, or if desired, one 5 hour practice prior to the game.
The process of evaluation of the athletes will start the 27 of February, 2010 at the Muckleshoot Tribal School in Auburn, Washington. Ultimate Edge Sports (UES) will be holding a combine that day. For details on the event please email simi@uedgesports.com. We are accepting the nomination of athletes through the high school for whom they play. You can also email the athlete’s contact information (phone number, email address, high school and coach’s name). The athletes are required to attend one of our camps so as to qualify into the Tanoa Bowl. All high school athletes are welcome to participate.

It is also there to recognize the hard work and dedication that these players are making as positive role models both in their community and for the up and coming generation. Pride in academics along with pride in athletics are fueled by a sense of appreciation of cultural traditions and values. The Tanoa Bowl will honor these achievement by these All-Stars.
